I hope that we will now recognize that the hospitality industry does not thrive with efficiency with its main driving force. The product, at the end of the day, is experience and presence.

I am totally not on board with the idea of hotels implementing VR and AR or anything of the sort. People are there to experience a real, tangible, physical atmosphere. A lot more to explore there!
